Senior Caleb Williams earned the top spot in the National Blues Museum African American Portrait Contest. He was honored at a special banquet along with other contestants. He also recieved a $1000 cash prize for is portrait of Jazz legend Nat King Cole. Other Roosevelt honorees were Freshman Javon Burley, 2nd place winner with his piece of Ray Charles. Senior Fatuma Euli was awarded 5th place with her portrait of Louis Armstrong. They artwork is on display now at the National Blues Museum in downtown St. Louis.
