Mentor St. Louis
Officially founded in June of 1995 and joining forces with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (formerly known as Herbert Hoover) in the fall of 2009, Mentor St. Louis continues to provide unique mentoring opportunities to elementary students by pairing them with caring adult volunteers that read with them monthly and contact them weekly. Through structured programming, on-going mentor training, and strength-based nurturing, mentees are encouraged to develop a love of learning and ultimately reach their highest potential. Our partner schools include – Cote Brilliante Elementary, Dunbar Elementary, Farragut Elementary, Jefferson Elementary, and Sherman Elementary. We provide additional program services to Adams Park Elementary and Columbia Elementary through BGCSTL.
