Dolphin Soccer Team Brings Home 1st Place Throphy


The Compton-Drew soccer team was in action over the weekend at Gateway High School.  They played Mckinley in the semi-finals and beat them 3-0.  The dolphins got goals from Rabin Mongar, Randy Turcios, Juan Hernandez and Norvin Ramirez got the shut out in goal.  The dolphins advanced to play in the finals against their arch rivals the gateway jaguars.  It was a good game and the dolphins won 5-1.  The dolphins got 2 goals from 6th grader Rabin Mongar, 2 goals from 8th grader Juan Hernandez and 1 goal from 8th grader Juan Guerrero.   

Your dolphins are the middle school champions and they finished the year undefeated.  Their record was 6-0.  This is the first time Compton Drew has won the soccer championship and they will go down in history as one of the best teams ever.  The team got contributions from each and every player and they should be congratulated for this incredible season.
