What is asynchronous learning?

Asynchronous learning is learning done outside of the normal class time and done independently in a self-directed manner. Asynchronous learning at Collegiate will occur during the final 35 minutes of the scheduled class time or outside of the school day. Students may continue working on a class assignment, watch a video, or work on homework assignments during asynchronous learning time.

Students may stay on Teams when synchronous learning is over to ask questions or seek assistance during the asynchronous learning time.
