The Men of Tomorrow Health Careers Camp is an opportunity for male SLPS high school juniors to learn about careers in the health care industry.  Students will have male mentors who are currently working in the allied health areas.  Careers will include nursing, laboratory work, dieticians, and a variety of technician opportunities.  Sessions will include hands-on activities, tours, and soft skills preparation for the workplace environment.

This is a collaborative program with the SLPS Division of Career and Technical Education, the Missouri Foundation for Health, and the BJC School Outreach and Youth Development Department.  Partnering with BJC School Outreach will be Barnes-Jewish Hospital Emergency Services and the Goldfarb School of Nursing.

Student sessions will be held May 28th, June 4th, June 17th and June 18th from 10am - 12pm at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Medical Center, #1 Barnes Hospital Plaza, St. Louis, MO 63110.  There is Culminating Summer Camp on Monday, July 20 - Friday, July 24 from 9am - 2pm each day.
