Students in a social justice program at Wildwood Middle School delivered 1,000+ books they had gathered for Laclede Elementary students. The Wildwood students read to the younger kids and talked to 5th graders about the transition to middle school. There were enough books for each Laclede student to take several home, plus extras for classrooms and the library. Wildwood and Laclede have a special connection because Wildwood social worker Kelsie Doughty was at Laclede last year. Many thanks to Wildwood Middle School!
