What a great first day back at school! It was wonderful to see our students settle into their classes, make new friends, and enjoy their lunch period. It was an eventful day filled with excitement and new beginnings!

ZUM Bus Transportation

We're so excited to get our new ZUM bus transportation system up and running smoothly. Most students received their bus passes today, and we have more available for tomorrow. We strongly encourage all students to pick up their passes, even if they don't plan to use them right away. This will help us ensure a seamless transition for everyone.

To make things even easier, you can download the ZUM app at https://app.ridezum.com. It's a fantastic tool that allows you to track your child's bus in real time and see any updates or delays. Please take a moment to review your child's assigned bus number, as some students may have different buses for the morning and afternoon routes.

Remember, students who received their passes today should "badge in" on the bus tomorrow morning. This helps you track their location and alerts you to any route changes. We are confident that with a little teamwork, tomorrow's transportation will be much smoother.

Important: Register in Focus

To ensure your child is fully registered for transportation and all school services, please make sure you've registered in Focus at https://slps.focusschoolsoftware.com/. Although you may be receiving this email, it doesn't mean your registration is complete. We need you to log in and confirm that you can see all of your child’s information.

Looking Ahead

Tomorrow, we will follow the same schedule as today, and we'll begin taking student pictures for our Photo ID database. Our next step will be to assign iPads to students, which requires a completed Focus registration and technology agreement. Completing your registration now will help us move this process along quickly.
