School Uniforms

Please keep in mind that Dewey is a uniform school.  Except for Spirit Days, students are expected to wear their uniform daily. 
 
The uniform policy includes:
 
Navy or khaki pants, skirts or jumpers
 
Any solid color, collared shirt
 
Appropriate school shoes   
      Please do not send your little girls to school in heels or fancy sandals.  The students participate in a great deal of physical activities in and outside of the classroom every day.  It is a safety issue for the children to be on the playground without the appropriate active wear shoe.
 
It is a good idea for each child to have a complete change of clothing in the event of an accident or spill. 
 
If you need some assistance with obtaining uniform clothing, shoes, coats, etc... for your child, feel free to ask at the office, send a note or contact the parent liaison, Mrs. Spann.
