Mann Elementary, Nov. 15, 2019 – - KSDK Meteorologist Chester Lampkin, who appears on Today in St. Louis every weekday morning, visited Mann Thursday morning to talk to students about weather safety. The third graders looked on with excitement as Lampkin described the natural disaters he's covered throughout his career.

Surprised with the quality of the questions asked by Mann students, Lampkin remarked, "Wow -- you all are asking questions that no one has asked me before. Great job!" Most of the students' curiosoty centered around tornados, and lightning.

Lampkn will showcase students and staff doing the Channel 5 is #1 salute on Monday's show (11/18) in the 6:00 a.m. hour. Wake up early to see Mann students and staff on KSDK (channel 5).
