Peabody eMINTS (Enhancing Missouri Networked Teaching Strategies) Academy is ranked among the top elementary schools in the St. Louis Public School District. It is located in a redeveloped, thriving neighborhood in St. Louis city (South of downtown, Soulard on the east, Lafayette Park on the west, I-40 on the north and I-44 on the south). Peabody is committed to increasing academic achievement, with active participation of parents and community, in an atmosphere conducive to teaching and life-long learning. Peabody serves students from pre-kindergarten to eithth grade. Peabody continues to be a model for progress, achievement and excellence, and the Peabody Education Task Force contributes to this success. The Task Force raises private funds to improve the quality of education and increase the resources available to students. The Task Force has purchased state-of-the-art technology to implement the Enhancing Missouri’s Instructional Networked Teaching Strategies and Waterford Early Reading Programs, Lego NXT sets, and installed a playground.
