Hey Hickey Hornets!  I hope you are reading!   

I have been a reading teacher for many years.  I have been at Hickey for five years as a reading specialist.  I currently work with small groups using a program called Fountas and Pinnell Leveled Literacy Intervention.  My goal is to not only teach reading skills, but to instill a love of reading.     

I have been married for 40 years (long time!).  I have three grown children and three grandchildren.  

I love to garden and I am excited to get the Hickey garden growing.  My absolutely favorite thing to do is- read! I love to read almost any genre except scary books!
