    Greetings Peabody Elementary Families!

    I am beyond excited to continue serving the Peabody Community. My vision is to inspire, prepare, and equip our students with the passion, mindset, and tools required for college and career readiness, and to thrive in a global economy.

    Here at Peabody Elementary, our students are “Soaring Towards Excellence” each and every day. We are a Resilient Community... We have Peabody Pride... and we are Stronger Together. I am looking forward to another exciting school year, and partnering with you to create a safe and engaging learning environment, where our students can continue to soar.

    As we plan and prepare for heading back to school this fall, we want to ensure that you are included in the planning process. Please take a few minutes to respond to this brief survey, so that we may incorporate your wishes to best support your student(s) and family's educational needs. Please complete one survey for each student.     Summer Learning Program

    The District has added a Session III to its 2020 Summer Learning programming. Families are encouraged to register today at

    WHO: Open to SLPS-enrolled students entering grades PreK-4 through 12

    WHAT: Evidence-based small-group and guided-reading instruction to develop and strengthen student literacy skills.

    WHEN: June 15 to July 31, 2020

    HOW: Students who sign up for Session I, Session II and/or Session III of Summer Learning will be able to keep their District-provided devices (iPad and/or hotspot) during the summer, as long as they continue to engage with the lessons

  • Peabody Elementary

    “Soaring Towards Excellence”


    • Peabody School Hours are 8:05am - 3:02pm.
    • Peabody students may enter the school building beginning at 7:35am.
    • Breakfast is served daily from 7:35am until 8:05am.
    • Students are dismissed from Gym Door 6 at 3:02pm.
    • Peabody School is a “Uniform School” (uniform colors consist of white, blue, and khaki, in which students may wear uniform polo or button down shirts, with uniform pants, skirts, jumpers, skorts, or shorts, and tennis shoes).
    • Students are expected to follow expectations outlined in thePeabody Student Handbook and the SLPS District Code of Conduct Book. Please review these books with your student.
    • All visitors to Peabody School are to report to the main office to sign in.

    Student learning takes place every minute of every day. Let’s work together to provide a successful, highly engaging, and safe environment for ALL students.
