Greetings Peabody Elementary Families!

I am beyond excited to continue serving the Peabody Community. My vision is to inspire, prepare, and equip our students with the passion, mindset, and tools required for college and career readiness, and to thrive in a global economy.

Here at Peabody Elementary, our students are “Soaring Towards Excellence” each and every day. We are a Resilient Community... We have Peabody Pride... and we are Stronger Together. I am looking forward to another exciting school year, and partnering with you to create a safe and engaging learning environment, where our students can continue to soar.

Our Mission: Peabody Elementary School is an urban school dedicated to inspiring our students to be dynamic leaders in a positive and supportive environment.

Our Vision: At Peabody Elementary School we will create a stimulating environment through collaboration (with all stakeholders), that will increase the academic excellence of all students and create responsible, lifelong learners who are prepared for success in college, career, and beyond!

Peabody Elementary

“Soaring Towards Excellence”
- Peabody School Hours are 8:05am - 3:02pm.
- Peabody students may enter the school building beginning at 7:45am.
- Breakfast is served daily from 7:45am until 8:15am.
- Preschool students are dismissed from the Library Door 2 at 3:02pm.
- K-5 Students are dismissed from Gym Door 6 at 3:02pm.
- Peabody School is a “Uniform School” (uniform colors consist of white, blue, gold (yellow), and khaki, in which students may wear uniform polo or button down shirts, with uniform pants, skirts, jumpers, skorts, or shorts, and closed toe shoes).
- Students are expected to follow expectations outlined in thePeabody Student Handbook and the SLPS District Code of Conduct Book. Please review these books with your student.
- All visitors to Peabody School are to report to the main office to sign in.
Student learning takes place every minute of every day. Let’s work together to provide a successful, highly engaging, and safe environment for ALL students.
