Hi,

 This will be my second year teaching at Carver Elementary and my first as the first grade teacher! I previously worked as a case manager for recently arrived refugees and immigrants. I attended American University in Washington, DC, where I earned my BA in International Development and Spanish. I am currently working on my master's in education.

I'm a lifelong St. Louis resident and I love to explore the city in my free time, visiting some of the historical sites and marvelling over our amazing architecture. I also love to read, play video games, and work on improving my Spanish. 

I know that there is a lot going on in the world right now, but I truly am excited to work with you and your family this year. Virtual learning is going to be a challenge, but with your participation I am confident that your child can learn and grow and hopefully we will be in person sooner rather than later!
