    Dear Walbridge Students and Parents,

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! I hope you have had a wonderful summer and are relaxed, recharged ad ready to start a great year of learning and growing together.  I would like to extend a special welcome to all of the new families joining Walbridge and a welcome back to all our returning families.

I am so excited to report that all students will return for in-person instruction. Education and safety are our upmost priority. I want to assure you that Walbridge staff will continue to follow safety measures and that we are prepared to provide engaging and challenging learning opportunities for our students and parents. Parents will not be able to enter the building without an appointment due to COVID-19 guidelines.

Here at Walbridge, we believe your child will reach new heights through the combine efforts of home and school. Please remember that attendance counts!  All students are expected to report to school each day, on time, and ready to learn.  We know that there are extenuating circumstances that may prevent your child from attending school. We are asking that you call the school by 8:30am if your child will be absent for the day. Students missing three or more days will be referred to the school’s social worker. She will contact you to see how we can assist you in getting your child to school.

You can contact me at mildred.moore@slps.org or by contacting the school at (314)383-1829 or my cell phone at (314) 934-5458.

Thank you for sending your child to Walbridge.  I look forward to providing your child with an excellent educational experience.

    Sincerely,

    Mildred Moore, Principal
