Keep the learning going! Click the Summer Learning page to find suggestions for preparing for the next grade. Each week during the break, I recommend getting the green light on Reflex 3 times to build fact fluency and practicing the suggested skills on IXL for about 60 minutes to be sure your student has a strong foundation in the math skills they need.
User names and passwords for Reflex and IXL have been sent again to your student in Teams Chat.
    • Happy summer, and congratulations to the Class of 2020! If you missed our promotion ceremony, your student can share the video recording with you in Teams.
    • Report cards have been completed and will be mailed to your home in the beginning of June.
    • Summer school will be August 3-14, 2020. We do not know yet if it will be in-person, online, or both. Click here to register.

In 2014 I graduated from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish, and in 2019 I received my Master's of Education from UMSL with emphasis on literacy. I am certified to teach all subjects grades 1-6 as well as special reading from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I previously taught at Hodgen Elementary and Walbridge STEAM Academy. 2019-2020 was my fourth awesome year at Oak Hill teaching Math and Science in 4th/5th grade.
Oak Hill's diverse community provides me excellent experience toward my long-term goal of teaching in a bilingual Spanish classroom. I aspire to obtain additional certification in the future, possibly in Mathematics, STEM, or ESOL instruction. I hope that my experience and passion help each of your children achieve success within and outside of my classroom. Thank you for joining us for another year of learning, growing, and #WINNING together.
