Welcome, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade families!
My name is Christina Sweeney. I am excited to begin my fifth year at Oak Hill teaching math to these three grade levels! I am a graduate of SLU and UMSL, and I am returning to UMSL this fall to study STEM education. I am committed to your child’s success and development in all areas- inside and outside of our virtual classroom.
Class will be held through Microsoft Teams every day. Content will be posted, assignments will be given/collected/returned, and meetings will be held on this platform.
Envision 2.0 (also known as Pearson) will support us in learning math standards. Students will receive workbooks and have an account on Pearson Realize. Students will also regularly use Reflex Math and IXL Math to develop fluency with math facts and skills.
Student grades will be updated regularly in SIS and are visible to you by logging in to the SIS parent portal. Assignments will be assessed and provided with feedback. End of term grades will be given based on mastery of grade level standards.
Communication with Teacher
My SLPS website will be updated with announcements, important dates, and assignments. Class Dojo will be employed for communication. Grades and assignments are visible on Teams. Please feel free to call, text, or email me at any time. You may reach Oak Hill at 314-481-0420.

I am looking forward to another great year at Oak Hill. I cannot wait to grow with you and your students in a whole new way.
