Welcome to the Nottingham Community Access and Job Training High School Principal's Corner
Hello Longhorn Supporters! We couln't be more excited to welcome ALL LONGHORNS back for another adventurous year! I feel fortunate to be apart of a school community that is caring and dedicated to functional learning for students with disabilities. Every year brings new experiences as well as the enthusiasm for events and activities. School will begin in full swing this upcoming year!
Nottingham continue to move forward in educating students for post-secondary success. We're proud of our 0% graduate dropout rate for the 2022-2023 school year and over 80% of our graduates are registered with Vocational Rehabilitation. With over 80% of students making adequate progress on their IEP goals, we're looking to celebrate graduate placement at 100% the upcoming school year.
Nottingham was named a 2022 State School of Character and staff and students became masters of overcoming obstacles! We'll continue the focus of our school’s mission with students building positive character and having a successful transition from school to post-secondary independence. This year our goal is to be named a National School of Character.
School begins on August 21, 2023 and Im looking forward to seeing every student at school on the first day! If there are any questions, concerns, or needs, don't hesitate to give me a call at (school) 314-481-4095 or (cell) 314-536-2851.
