    • Just keep Moving

Go Noodle is a fun website that is frequently used in schools.  Your child may recognize it from PE or their classroom. Warning!!  It can be a good workout, but very fun.

    • Balance Skills

Working on balance is important for most children with a physical disability. These simple activities can be fun and challenging. If they are too hard for your child to attempt, just simply hold their hand while they are attempting the skill. Evenually you may be able to give less assistance as their balance improves.

    • Stretching

Daily stretching can be very important for the student with Cerebral Palsy or other neurological conditions.  Stretches should be performed daily, and should not be painful!  Always stretch to the point of feeling a "pull" or mild discomfort.  Do the stretch and hold the position for a count of five.  Repeat this for each stretch for ten repetitions.

    • Strengthening Exercises

These exercises are very simple and cover all of the major muscle groups.

    • Sensory Paths

Sensory Pathways can be a fun movement break during a long day of learning.  Participating in performing the pathways also improves gross motor skills such as strength, balance and jumping
