Greetings Everyone! My name is Dominique Patterson. I will be your child's 5th grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year! I am super excited about meeting you and your children. I am here for anything you may need to help your child become a 5th grade Humboldt scholar. I am looking forward to building outstanding relationships with your child and your family. 

A little bit about myself. I am very open to new ideas. My hobbies include reading, playing tennis, collecting , crafting and spending time with my family and friends. I have been an Illinois resident all my life, but you never know what the future may hold. I graduated from Southwestern Illinois College with my Associates in Criminal Justice. I am currently enrolled at Grand Canyon University and I will receive my Bachelors in Elementary Education next year. I plan on furthering my education to receive my Masters in Education.This will be my first year teaching but my fifth year working in the district. I am very excited about building relationships and teaching your child!
