Welcome to Betty Wheeler Classical Junior Academy, home of the Tigers! My name is Robert Narrow and this will be my first year serving as principal at Betty Wheeler CJA. I am excited for the 2023-2024 school year to begin and can not wait to meet all of our students and families in the coming weeks and months. To share a little about myself, I was a physical education teacher for 10 years before moving into administration last year. I really enjoy being active and watching just about anything sport related. I am a graduate of Truman State University where I played soccer and received my undergraduate and Masters degrees. I then went to Saint Louis University to attain my Doctoral degree in educational leadership.

I know that a lot of great things are happening at Betty Wheeler CJA already, including high academic performance and a commitment to character education. I hope to continue the great work being done while pushing us as a community to continue to be better versions of ourselves.

My vision for Betty Wheeler Classical Junior Academy is to provide each student with a safe space to be themselves where they are challenged daily to learn and grow. This growth is meant to be both academic and social/emotional. My expectation is that I, along with the rest of the staff, will learn and grow with the students throughout the year as well. By having a strong, positive relationship between the school and home, we can provide an excellent foundation of support for our students/children. Open communication is key to this, and I encourage you all as family members to reach out to your child's teacher to build and maintain that positive relationship.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me should you need anything throughout this school year. Together we will make this an amazing year to remember!
