Welcome to my webpage!
I am Jennifer Beffa and this is my 26th year teaching at Betty Wheeler Classical Junior Academy. Up until now, I have taught fifth grade, but I am so excited about moving into the art room this year. I have always loved art and I absolutely love working with gifted children. The students, staff, and families at Betty Wheeler CJA bring great joy to my life, and I feel honored to work here.
My family moved into this area almost 70 years ago, and I was born, raised, and continue to live about a block from our school. I attended Maryville University and currently have my Master’s degree +30 in elementary and gifted education. I am also a National Board Certified teacher. I received my certificate in art last year but am also working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts. I have been blessed with four beautiful children, ranging between 12-21 years old. We also have a dog and two cats that we absolutely adore. As you can imagine, my family keeps me busy.
In my free time, I enjoy several hobbies. I love flowers and nature and enjoy hiking and working in the yard/garden. I love to try out new restaurants, exercise, read, take art classes, watch movies, Netflix, and home renovation shows, bake, and hang out with my family and friends. I love to stay active.
I look forward to getting to know and working with all of our Betty Wheeler families this year!
All the best,
Ms. Beffa
