Welcome to my page! It is my pleasure to teach 4th grade for the 2020-2021 school year! I am a 20 year veteran of teaching. Most of those years have been spent teaching at Woodward. I love to watch the academic growth of my students from the beginning to the end of the school year. I strongly believe that ALL students can learn through various strategies. Parents, you are the first and most important teacher in your child's life. Show an interest in your child's work. Ask your child what he/she is learning. Read with your child, have your child read to you or read to a younger or older sibling. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I can be reached by email or phone, both listed above. Let's have a wonderful year!

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from UMSL. I got my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Lindenwood University. I began my teaching career in 1998 at Most Holy Trinity in North St. Louis. From there I moved to Garfield Elementary where I taught for 3 years until it was closed. I was then transferred to Woodward where I've been ever since.
