    I hope your week has been going well. 

     Special ‘thank you’ and ‘shout out’ to our wonderful families for partnering and staying connected with us. Through Intentional building of effective relationships/partnerships, we are creating a successful educational journey for everyone supporting student achievement.

     We invite you to take advantage of the following SLPS Districtwide opportunities….

    Parent University 2.0 every first Thursday of the month, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Oct. 2nd @ 5:30pm (light dinner at 5pm) childcare will be provided. This program is designed to empower parents with the skills and confidence to become effective advocates and leaders for their children.  By strengthening the school-home relationships, the aim is to enhance student academic success and promote overall well-being.     Men2Mentors, a program connecting fathers & male caregivers to student success. Moms, Aunts, Sisters and Friends encourage those men to register as we host our 1st Listen Question and Learn (LQL) Session Tues, Oct. 8 @ 5:30pm, (light dinner at 5pm) SLPS 801 N. 11th St. Topics: Role in Academic Success, School Supports, Literacy at Home.
