The Froebel Literacy Academy continues to emphasize Reading and Writing throughout all content areas.  We believe that all children "Read to Lead to Succeed!"  Teaching and learning remains our number one priority.  All of our effort is directed towards your child's success.  We ask that you partner with us to make sure they receive the very best education.  When the school and home work together as a team, anything and everything is possible!

Please take time to ask your child what he/she is learning in school. Make sure homework is being completed. Spend time reading with your child each day. Talk to your child about the importance of school. Explain to your child that school is a place of learning.

Take time each day to ask our child what he/she is learning in school.  Make sure homework is being completed.  Spend time reading with your child everyday.  Talk to your child about the importance of school.  Explain to your child that school is a place of learning.  Most of all , make sure your child is getting plenty of rest each night by going to bed at a reasonable time.  This will help your child do his/her best each day.

Contact the Family-Community Involvement Specialist to learn about ways you can become more involved in the school.  In the meantime, you can start by joining the P.T.O. and/or signing up to be a volunteer at the school.

You can, also, do us a great favor by sending your child to school everyday!   Student attendance plays a major role in helping to achieve our goal of improving student achievement.  Your child cannot learn if he/she is not present at school each day.  You are invited to come and visit the school.  Stop by the main office to sign-in and get a visitor's pass before going to a classroom.  For your convenience, please find out the teacher's planning period to schedule a conference.
