Senator Joseph Keaveny visits Woerner

On Friday, October 10^th, students at Woerner in grades 2-5 had an opportunity to visit with Missouri Senator Joseph Keaveny.  Senator Keaveny represents the 4^th District.  Senator Keaveny talked to the students about how government works and shared some of his personal experiences of what it’s like to be a Senator.  The students were able to get up close and personal with the Senator as they asked very good questions about the senate position and how his job helps the community he represents and students.  Senator Keaveny also shared that one of the bills he passed will allow all pre-school aged children to attend pre-school free of charge.
