Ms. Melonie Brown

Welcome to Ms. Melonie Brown's Class Page!

I am the kindergarten teacher at Monroe Elementary School for the 2022-2023 school year. I am in my second year with St. Louis Public Schools. I previously worked in Pre-School for a year. I have also worked as a building substitute for a couple of months. I am so excited about this new chapter in life in kindergarten. I especially enjoy teaching early exploration of literature and mathematics.
A little about myself:

I am 30 years old. I live in Saint Louis, Missouri. I have lived in Dutchtown for seven years now. I have a ten-year-old daughter as well. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration in February. I currently attend Grand Canyon University for my master's in elementary education and special education. I enjoy drawing. I enjoy reading various series such as The Twilight Saga, The Vampire Diaries, Harry Potter, and many more in my free time. My favorite colors are green and pink. I am so excited to be part of the Monroe Dragons.  I look forward to working with you.
