Hello. This is my second year teaching at Shenandoah, and I'm very excited to be here. I have been working for Saint Louis Public Schools for over 15 years in the capacity of a Substitute Teacher, Positive Behavior Interventions Specialist, In-School Suspension Teacher and Classroom Teacher. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade for SLPS and now Pre-School. I have also taught Pre-School for 3 years in Cahokia, Illinois and 1st grade in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I have a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University and love teaching our students. My vision is that everyone can learn, they just have to have caring and loving teachers and support from home. I have 4 children, 2 of whom are Pre-school teachers as well, and 2 in college. I also have three grandchildren: 6, Kylie, 7, Savion and Caden 8. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 30 years and 34 total.
