NEED SHOES & UNIFORMS?

OPERATION SCHOOL BELL: clothing and shoes

Dear Shenandoah Families,

              Shenandoah Elementary School has partnered with the Assistance League of St. Louis who assists our school/families with needed resources such as school uniforms, shoes and so forth. In the past, students were provided with the opportunity to visit the ALS headquarters to be fitted for new uniforms, but this year ALS headquarters will come to Shenandoah Elementary School on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Operation School Bell is a program of Assistance League of St. Louis. Through this program, they provide uniforms and athletic shoes for our students/children. The distribution of shoes is called Steps for Success.  Members of Assistance League will measure each student/child for proper sizing, then distribute uniforms and athletic shoes at your school.

If you would like your child to participate in the Operation School Bell (OSB) and/or Steps for Success program, it is very important that he/she is present at school and on-time the day of fitting.  It could take 2 weeks more and/or less to receive the actual orders. Remember, you are more than welcome to participate in both or either program is at no cost to you.
