Masters in Early Childhood Education-Teaching and Learning Walden University
I began my teaching career in 2004 at St. Louis Public School. I taught kindergarten at Siegel Elementary, then transferred to Peabody Elementary School. I moved to Tennessee in 2007 and taught Pre-Kindergarten in the Clarksville Montgomery County School System. I moved back to St. Louis in 2018 and joined the Herzog Elementary family. My goal is to give my students a strong foundation that will help support their love for learning for the rest of their educational career.
On a personal note, I have been married to my husband, Mark, for 30 years. We have two adult children. Josh is 29. He is an electrical engineer and lives in Virginia. We had some exciting news that he got engaged. I am very excited for him and my future daughter-in-law, Caroline. My daughter, Erin, is 25. She graduated last spring with a Masters in Macro Social Work from the University of Tennessee. She lives in Cincinnatti, Ohio and works for past Bangles football player, Joe Kelly. He opened a couple of children's homes and transitional housing for children that have no other place to go. I am extremely proud of both of my children and miss them very much!
