I grew up in NY state and graduated in 2005 from a state university called SUNY Geneseo with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. In 2011 I completed my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Integrating Technology in Schools at George Mason University in Virginia. I have been teaching for 17 years all in the field of Special Education. I started as a resource teacher in Washington DC and over the years I have co-taught in classrooms, worked with small groups of students outside the classroom and taught in self-contained classrooms. The past 10 years I have been teaching in autism classrooms. When I'm not in school I enjoy traveling, watching movies and spending time with family and friends.
