    • Advanced Placement Courses

At Soldan we offer fourteen Advanced Placement courses in a wide variety of subject areas. Advanced Placement courses are college level classes taught in high school by highly qualified teachers. At the conclusion of these courses students can take the Advanced Placement exam and, depending on how well they do, get college credit at colleges across the country. This can save students both money and time when they get to college. Besides the value of receiving college credit, these courses also prepare students for the rigors of college level coursework. At Soldan we offer the following AP subjects:

      AP Biology

      AP Calculus

      AP Chemistry

      AP Comparative Government and Politics

      AP English Language and Composition

      AP English Literature and Composition

      AP Environmental Science

      AP Human Geography

      AP Physics

      AP US Government and Politics

      AP Psychology

      AP Studio Art: 2-D Design

      AP Studio Art: 3-D Design

      AP World History
