    Teacher Message:

Welcome to Soldan!  My major emphasis is upon encouraging students to see mathematics as a web of closely connected ideas (algebra, geometry, and the entire number system). This means linking new ideas to previously learned concepts, helping students to see mathematics as a unified body of knowledge whose concepts build upon each other.  Mathematics is also the common language of many other disciplines (science, technology, finance, social science), and students should learn the mathematical foundations of these disciplines. Finally, I ensure that my students connect their mathematical learning to appropriate real-world contexts.                        “Remember, practice is ESSENTIAL to success in mathematics.”
