Balance skills
Working on balance is important for most children with a physical disability. These simple activties can be fun and challenging. If they are too hard for your child to attempt, just hold their hand while they are attempting the skill. Eventually, you may be able to give less assistance as their balance improves.

It is especially important for children with Cerebral Palsy or other neurological conditions that cause stiffness of the joints and muscles.
