Welcome to the English IV classroom webpage! My name is Ms. Frey, and I am thrilled to be with Soldan for this upcoming school year. Having graduated from the University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL), I bring a passion for English literature and a dedication to fostering the potential within each student.

I firmly believe that every student possesses the ability to learn and thrive. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating an inclusive and stimulating environment where each student's unique strengths are recognized and cultivated. Throughout the year, I am committed to using engaging activities and dynamic teaching methods to enhance the English Language Arts (ELA) learning journey. From thought-provoking discussions to creative writing and collaborative activities, we will commence an exploration of literature and language arts that encourages critical thinking and fosters a deep appreciation for the power of language.
