Hello! I'm thrilled to be back at Soldan for the 2024-2025 school year. I'm teaching American Literature (English 3) and AP Language & Composition.

This year my English 3 classes will explore a range of American writers highlighted in four thematic units: Breaking Away, The Highway, No Strangers Here, and Living the Dream. We'll cover elements of literary analysis and become more adept at evaluating and writing arguments. AP Language students will follow a curricular path outlined by The College Board. We'll focus on rhetorical analysis and college-level writing. I'm excited to help all my students strengthen their critical-reading and writing skills--and I hope they'll love the texts we read too!
