Adam Beckring- English I, English III, Film History Teacher

Hello! I'm thrilled to be a part of the Soldan community as the English I, English III, and Film History teacher. With a passion for literature and a dedication to fostering a love for learning, I'm excited to embark on this educational journey with my students.

About Me: I hold a Masters degree in Secondary Education as well as a Bachelor's in Communications and Media Arts from UMSL where I developed a deep appreciation for the power of storytelling and its impact on personal growth. My journey in education has taken me through five years of teaching experience, allowing me to connect with students and inspire a love for literature and critical thinking.

Teaching Philosophy: I believe that every student has a unique voice and perspective to share. My classroom is a space where students can explore, question, and engage with the world of literature in meaningful ways. I'm committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and empowered to express themselves.

Literary Passions: When I'm not in the classroom, you might find me curled up with a favorite novel or exploring the pages of contemporary fiction as well as dabbling in screenwriting. I'm passionate about fostering a diverse range of reading interests and encouraging students to discover the magic of words for themselves.

Extracurricular Involvement:  While I am currently not involved with any sports at the school I myself am an avid golfer.
