I MISS WITNESSING MY SCHOLARS IN THE CLASSROOM GROWING THEIR KNOWLEDGE!

Hello Families,

My name is Ms. Petty, I am the preschool special education teacher in the inclusion room here at Hodgen Tech Academy (Room 106). I am excited to continue being apart of the Hodgen Tech Academy family (WE ARE THE BEST!). I graduated in December  2016, from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.  I obtained my bachelor’s degree is in Early Childhood Education with a certificate in Early Childhood Special Education. I have a true passion for teaching early learners and enjoy the challenge of differentiating to fit a wide range of abilities. I believe that Early Childhood Education is a fundamental part in a childs' life and what they learn and experience now will help them develop a lifelong love and thirst for knowledge. I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. All of my family lives in St. Louis. Presently, I live in South County. On my own time. I enjoy spending time with my 3 nieces and 3 nephews.  I also enjoy spending time outside and love to go camping.

In addition, the Academic team has created enrichment packets to encourage continuous learning among students of all grade levels. These packets are available at meal distribution sites, and they are posted online at www.slps.org/keeponlearning
