Welcome to Room 242. My name is Ms. Hayes. It is my pleasure to be your child's teacher. This is my 7th year at Gateway Elementary MST and my 20th year with SLPS. I am very eager to be a part of your child's educational journey. My educational journey began at St. Louis Community College, where I received an AAS in Early Care and Education. I continued my educational journey at Fontbonne University, where I received a BS in General Studies with a minor in ECE, Masters of Management in Business, and Master's of Art in Teaching (MAT) in Special Education with a certificate K-12. 

Please note that our day begins at 7:45 with breakfast and academics begin at 8:15. We have a variety of learning styles and I have a variety of teaching styles. Please feel free to contact me via email, text, or by calling the school and leaving a message.
