Teacher Message: I can not believe that I have been here at Hodgen for eight years now!  With the beginning of another exciting year, I want to inform everyone of my expectations.  To receive a passing grade in Music this year,  all students are expected to turn in the weekly assignment that will be posted in Teams.  These assignments shall be due at the end of each week.  PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:  Your child can either post his/her completed assignment on Teams or in Class Dojo.  My assignments are based on different sections of the curriculum.  I will give them the information they need to watch and listen, then they will do their assignment. l:  p
I will be keeping weekly grade sheets for each class, that way you parents can go in to SIS and see how your child is doing.  If a child is falling behind on the assignments, I will be contacting the parents directly to learn how this is happening.  If your child participates, he/she will pass my class.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me either by my school email:  palmer.batson@slps.org; or on Class Dojo, or on Teams.  I am here to help your child and really want to work WITH you through these very trying times.  Thank you for reading this and now let us have some fun this year!

I check these three daily as well as being online in the Hodgen Teams room.
Last reminder to our scholars:  for you older ones, once you have completed my assignment, PLEASE either take a picture of your written answers and upload them on the assignment page, or just  upload that page.  I really am curious how you are doing and seeing if you are understanding what I am teaching you.  Please be safe!
