After graduating from High School near Baltimore, Maryland, I attended Atlanta College of Art and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art with a minor in Art History.  I moved to St Louis and attended Webster University. At Webster, I completed the Teacher Certification program in Art Education. Finally, I concluded with a Masters of Art in Teaching with an emphasis in Aesthetic Communications. In 2001 I began teaching in SLPS and have been at Ames VPA since 2009. Presently I am completing a Masters Degree in Studio Art with my focus on ceramics and painting.
