Hi! My name is Waltrin Richards, and I’m so excited to be your child’s preschool teacher this year! It’s truly a joy and an honor to be part of such an important time in your child’s life. For many, this is their very first school experience—and I can’t wait to share in the joy of learning, growing, and exploring together!

This is my twelfth year at Wilkinson Early Childhood Center, and I absolutely LOVE working with young learners. Watching their curiosity bloom and helping them develop a love for learning is what makes teaching so rewarding.

A little bit about me—I’ve been happily married for 30 years, and my husband and I have two wonderful adult children: a son and a daughter. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, having picnics in the park, and even watching ants work together (I find their teamwork fascinating!).
