About me

Sawubona!  Welcome back!  This is my sixth year at Long International Middle School and I am extremely happy to announce that I have transitioned into the ESOL department.  So... I am your child's ESOL teacher at LIMS!!

I was born in Spain and moved to St. Louis in 2016.  I am an ELL (English Language Learner) myself!  I have a Bachelor's in Translation and Interpreting (English, Spanish and French) and two Masters degrees, one in Teaching Spanish and an M.Ed in Secondary Education from UMSL.

Outside school, I love spending time in the outdoors with my dog, Mona. I love to experience all the new things the USA has to offer, whether that be food or new national parks/trails to hike.  I love to share my experiences in the USA and life stories from Spain with scholars.

My Teaching Style

Comprehensible Input

Open Minds

Judgement-free zone

I believe in a judgement-free class where scholars are encouraged, supported and feel safe.  This is why we stand by our class expectations:

1. Be kind

2. Do your part

3. Use your English!
