Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Jahaun Ireland
Hello! I am delighted to serve as your Academic Instructional coach. I have been a member of the St. Louis Public School family for 21 years. During this time I have served as a Kindergarten, Second grade, Third grade and Consultant teacher.
I attended Tennessee State University for undergraduate studies and obtained a Master's degree at the University of Missouri-St. Louis in the area of Education Administration. I also have a Special Reading Certification for grades K-12. I consider myself as a professional who constantly strives to be an effective teacher leader. I have defendable beliefs that all children can learn and will learn at high levels. I feel that all leaders must have a vision as well as the ability to communicate and share that vision with others. St. Louis Public Schools has helped me as an individual to expand my own knowledge base such that I will be able to develop an ability to recognize and enhance values in students and faculty, which are necessary to establish and maintain a great learning institution.
The Mission of Earl Nance, Sr. Elementary School is to empower students to have a voice within our community. Each student will achieve success through literacy, innovation, and having culturally responsive classrooms.
Vision: Nance Elementary students will be empowered as global leaders to make a positive impact on the world.
