“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.”
–Martin Luther King, Jr.
Mrs. Wampler graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English Education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2011. With the love of teaching driving her, she worked at Premiere Charter School as a substitute teacher for over a year and then moved to Confluence Academy Walnut Park as a full time Middle School Communication Arts Teacher for 2 years. Over 8 years ago, she started working at AESM Middle School for SLPS and she couldn’t be happier.
