Hello Carnahan Family!
My name is Mr. Kahn and I am excited to begin my first year here at Carnahan High School of The Future. I will be teaching Special Education and working with exceptional students. Growing up, I was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome (high functioning autism). My goal is to help students like myself who are strugling to find their identity both in the classroom and in their friend groups. As a result, I will also be an assistant football coach this season. While school is going to start online this year, I am very excited to work with my students and help each and every one of them be successful.
My family is a big part of who I am and I love them all very much. I have two older sisters who are both married and one of them has a beautiful daughter named Maddie. She is 3! My sisters are a big reason why I am here today along with my parents. I have one dog named Max, as well as three cats, Archie, Gracie, and Rylie.
Andrew graduated from Bradley University (Peoria, Illinois) in May of 2019 with a Bachelors of Science in Education with a focus in Social Studies, English/Language Arts, and Teaching English Speakers of Other Languages.
