Degrees and Certifications:

Dr. Felicia Miller

Growing up “playing school” was one of my favorite childhood games.  As of this year, I am beginning my 20th year in the Saint Louis Public School District. Before coming to Adams Elementary School, I had the opportunity to spend 3 years as the Principal of Monroe Elementary School and the other years as a teacher, academic instructional coach, and assistant principal. In December of 2018, I completed my Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership at Maryville University. I earned a Master of Arts degrees in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education with a minor in Psychology from the Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.

I love what I do! My goal is to continue the Adams Elementary culture of excellence by building strong relationships with students, teachers, staff, parents, and the community. I believe that children should love to learn and be given many opportunities to feel successful. For this reason, it is my desire to create a wonderful experience for each child who walks through our doors. My personal mission is to always lead with the courage to do what’s best for children.  I truly believe it is most important to do what is right, not what is easy.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children. I cannot wait to see all the success in store for the staff and students of Adams Elementary School!
