Hi! I’m Ms. Trinese Lawhorn, a passionate educator dedicated to fostering a love of learning in young students. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Harris-Stowe State University in 2021 and completed my Master’s in Early Childhood Education from UMSL in May 2025. This is my fourth year teaching at Adams, and this school year I will be teaching reading and writing (ELA) to first and second-graders, creating engaging lessons that meet diverse learning needs.
Outside the classroom, I’m a proud mom to my soon-to-be 3-year-old son. I enjoy exploring creative projects, connecting with my community, and finding new ways to inspire curiosity and growth in every child I teach. My mission is to make learning both meaningful and fun while supporting every student to reach their full potential.
