Welcome to all of our Patrick Henry families!
Thanks to all of our family support with strict Covid protocols, we ended the 2020-2021 school year with ZERO student Covid cases! We intend to keep that streak going throughout the 2021-2022 school year when we welcome all of our students back for in-person learning. Please remember that all Covid restrictions remain in place until the CDC or Health Department changes our requirements. All students must wear a mask at all times. All students must be up to date on their vaccinations before they may attend school at Patrick Henry. All students must stay home from school if they exhibit any of the symptoms in the graphic below.
We cannot have a successful school year without the support of our parents and families. Please join us in the effort to keep every single student healthy and safe this school year!
When should a child stay home from school?
CLICK HERE for more information about when students should stay home from school. If a child has a fever over 100.4, vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, or congestion, they must stay home until 24 hours AFTER the symptoms go away without medication. If a child has two or more of the above symptoms, they must be seen by a healthcare provider before returning to school. If a child has a cough, difficulty breathing, or loss of taste/smell, they must be seen by a healthcare provider before they can return to school. If a child has had close contact with a COVID-positive person, they must stay home for 14 days. All students at home are still welcome to participate in virtual learning.
Families, are you interested in joining the Patrick Henry PTO?
Our goal for the 2021-2022 school year is to establish a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), and we need you! A PTO must represent the full student population at Patrick Henry. Please consider joining our efforts this year. If you are interested, please contact Shanice Webb by calling the school at 314.231.7284, or emailing her at Shanice.Webb@slps.org.
