Mr. Marcus McCarter is St. Louis born, raised, and educated. He is a graduate of The Academy of Math and Science high school, Harris Stowe State University (Undergraduate), Fontbonne University and Lindenwood University (Master Degrees in Special Education and Educational Leadership). He has been a Special Education teacher since 2001; in addition to that, he volunteers his time in the community working at the local food pantry.
Mr. McCarter expects his students to be better overall citizens and career-ready because his classes focus on reading, writing, listening, and speaking every day! In addition to reading, his hobbies include cooking and sports (watching or playing), and spending time with his family.
