Every Child, Every Day!
Learning and Growing!
Dr. Felicia Miller, PrincipalGrowing up, “playing school” was one of my favorite childhood games. As of this year, I am beginning my 24th year in the Saint Louis Public School District. Before coming to Adams Elementary School, I had the opportunity to spend 3 years as the Principal of Monroe Elementary School and the other 14 years as a teacher, academic instructional coach, and assistant principal. In December of 2018, I completed my Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership at Maryville University. I earned a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education with a minor in Psychology from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.
I am passionate about my work! My aim is to maintain the culture of excellence at Adams Elementary by building strong relationships with students, teachers, staff, parents, and the community. I believe that children should enjoy learning and should have numerous opportunities to experience success. Therefore, my goal is to create a positive and fulfilling experience for every child who comes through our doors. My personal mission is always to prioritize what is best for children. I firmly believe in doing what is right, even when it is not easy.
Thank you for trusting us with your children. I am excited to witness the success that awaits the staff and students of Adams Elementary School!
